Customer Account Manager

Salary: £30,151 progressing to a maximum of - £32,909

Location:  Mobile/ No Fixed location
Starting Salary:  £30,151 progressing to a maximum of £32,909 pro rata for part-time.
Hours:  37 per week

Contract:  Permanent, Term time plus 3 weeks (41 in total)

Job Duties:

We are looking for someone with excellent people skills, listening skills and communication techniques to be the Customer Account Manager for the East Midlands to manage and grow the loyal school customer base.

This position is perfect for you if you enjoy investing in customer choices to grow the business through your negotiating and account planning skills. The role delivers real job satisfaction building meaningful customer relationships that make a difference in the educational resources sector whilst working as part of a supportive team.

In this role you will:

  • Provide an outstanding experience to customers by managing and growing a territory.
  • Complete accurate and efficient sales feedback demonstrating an understanding of the aims and objectives of the business and applying these to varied situations.
  • Communicate with colleagues, managers, buyers and other internal partners on customer order enquires.
  • Assess customer needs and make pro-active recommendations through investing in product knowledge and competitor offers.
  • Work in an organisation with a strong reputation in the market for value, service, and great customer relationships.

Any technical, skills and qualifications needed for the role:

  • A full UK Driving licence.
  • The ability and motivation to achieve key performance indicators and performance targets
  • The ability to manage your own workload, and can prioritise the tasks that are the most important
  • Excellent communication skills - oral and written.
  • Basic computer literacy and keyboard skills
  • A good knowledge of basic Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
